FUJIFILM FinePix REAL 3D System

index_pgPhotoImg_01I saw Pharrell talking about this new 3d enabled point and shoot. I'm personally over spectroscopic 3d imitations but being able to produce them on a consumer level does sound cool.

Fujifilm is moving digital camera technology to the next level by offering its FinePix Real 3D system that does away with the need to wear geeky-looking 3D glasses, as it incorporates a 3D digital camera FinePix Real 3D W1, 3D picture viewer FinePix Real 3D V1and 3D prints. The Real 3D W1 camera will come with the brand new Real 3D Lens System which is capable of achieving a natural 3D image courtesy of two Fujinon lenses that have been installed within, protected from outside knocks and drops thanks to a robust aluminum die-cast frame. Thanks to the special Fujifilm 3D/2D LCD display, it allows one to view natural 3D images with the naked eye. For additional bragging rights, the neon blue "3D" logo will light up whenever the camera is turned on. You can pick up the FinePix REAL 3D W1 for $640 thereabouts, while the FinePix REAL 3D V1 is going for $535 with 3D prints costing $5 a pop.
