I don't like when other people, including my self, say stuff like I'm not trying to gossip or no offense because the truth is you are gossiping or willingly offending. Our intentions may not be to do those things but we are so not point in trying to hide it behind a lie.
I thought it was funny that Perez got punched, only because he talks about people. Its hi job to gossip and spread rumors, which rarely wins you "good karma" but a lot of people have jobs that have the potential for hurting others too. I don't think he deserved to get hit because of the nature of his job but it does ad a comedic element to the situation.
