Milwaukee MCs Arcane and Young Focus call themselves The Cranberry Show because, as your friendly neighborhood urologist will tell you, cranberries help to clean out your system, and that’s exactly what they want to do with hip-hop. Recalling willfully individualistic and goofy Chicago rappers like The Cool Kids and Lupe Fiasco, The Cranberry Show has been steadily gaining traction in Milwaukee’s rap scene despite not having an album out yet. (One is said to be in the works.) The duo’s lively concerts are a big reason why. At one recent East Side show, Young Focus did a flip off the stage… and no one caught him. So, please, be on the lookout for falling rappers at Stonefly.
