Flier Design for WBSU

This was the final flier design for the 1st Black men's initiative forum on black man hood. The actual forum was pretty cool, we attempted to deconstruct the current black male image and reconstruct what it means to be a black man. I used this image of an upside down child soldier to evoke feelings and raise questions on what do we view man hood as and more importantly what does the next generation of future men see it as? Is it the ability to be violent or a stead fast allegiance to some thing? Is it obtaining a sense of belonging and purpose?
