When the rest of the world chooses to be over saturated Whaz, Chaz Washington, goes the opposite route. Whaz is a Milwaukee photographer and designer who is just ill, plan and simple. I went to middle school with his younger sister so I knew about the man for a while but just recently met him in person while he was shooting a show for Haz Solo—watch out for that guy— at a Moda 3 event. Heres some of his off the wall work.
I love the way Whaz plays with light in his altered photographs creating this dream like perception of reality. The way he merges nondescript organic bodies of light with both subtle and abrasive geometric patterns really catches my eyes.
